We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concreter to join Harkin Group Pty Ltd on a casual basis. This position is based in Yamba, NSW 2464 and offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to a variety of concrete projects. As a Concreter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and finishing of concrete structures, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and setting up formwork and reinforcement for concrete placements
- Finishing concrete surfaces including screeding, trowelling, and smoothing (Preferably)
- Operating concrete vibrators and other specialised equipment to ensure proper consolidation
- Applying surface treatments and finishes such as exposed aggregate, staining or sealing
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and measurements accurately (Not essential)
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and site personnel to meet project deadlines

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a Concreter in the construction industry
- Competency in formwork preparation, concrete placement and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in operating concrete equipment and power tools safely
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites
- Physical fitness and stamina for manual and labour-intensive work




- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude towards work
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one
- Valid driver's licence (advantageous)
