Second / Third Year Apprentice Roof Plumber Wanted

n

You'll gain practical experience across residential and commercial metal roofing projects as a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Roof Plumber with JCA Metal Roofing. You'll work alongside experienced roof plumbers on real projects from start to finish, developing responsible roofing skills and becoming a quality tradesperson. For the right apprentice, you'll have the opportunity for one-on-one guidance and hands‐on development with experienced roof plumbers, helping you strengthen your existing skills, learn better techniques and progressively take on more responsibility.

Key responsibilities

New roofs and re-roofing projects

n

Flashings and cappings

n

Gutters, downpipes and rainwater goods

n

Measuring, setting out and preparing roofing materials

n

Safe working at heights

n

Reading plans and understanding roofing systems

n

Maintaining clean, organised and safe worksites

n

Working alongside qualified roof plumbers on real projects from start to finish

n

About you

n

Currently completing your 2nd or 3rd Year Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship

n

Have existing practical metal roofing experience

n

Hold a current White Card

n

Have a current driver's licence and reliable transport

n





Comfortable and competent working at heights

n

Physically capable of undertaking roofing work

n

Work safely and follow site procedures

n

Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn

n

Work well as part of a team

n

Sound understanding of basic roof plumbing and comfortable with the fundamentals of working on a metal roofing site

n

Consistent work across the Central Coast, Newcastle & Hunter Region

n

Residential and commercial metal roofing projects

n

One-on-one training and development opportunities
