Lead operational readiness for a major customer portfolio transition

Work across Operations, Technology, Risk, HR and executive stakeholders

Critical delivery role with ownership from planning through to Day 1

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will own end-to-end delivery of the Operations workstream, from integrated planning and readiness sequencing through to cutover and Day 1 execution. The role must establish whether the business is genuinely ready to support customers, not simply whether individual project activities have been marked complete. This role is the operational integrator across the program, connecting the detailed readiness work occurring within operational teams with the timelines and dependencies owned by Technology, Risk, HR, Change, vendors and other program streams.

Key responsibilities

Create and maintain an integrated Operations delivery plan

Coordinate milestones, dependencies and decisions across workstreams

Lead operational cutover planning and readiness sequencing

Identify readiness gaps and drive owners towards resolution

Provide clear status, risk and dependency reporting to governance forums

Build and manage the Operations workstream plan through to implementation,



aligning operational milestones with technology timelines, workforce readiness, process design and business requirements

Coordinate the sequence of operational-readiness activities and provide operational inputs into the wider cutover plan

Maintain credible milestone, risk, issue and dependency reporting

Lead through influence across Operations leadership, Technology, Risk, HR, vendors, stream leads and subject-matter experts

About you

Transition of Service TSA experience within financial services, ideally mortgages, home or personal loans

Solid operational-readiness and delivery experience

Understanding of customer operations or contact-centre environments

Project governance, dependency management and cutover planning

Executive communication combined with hands-on delivery capability

Composed, pragmatic and easy to work with

Able to create confidence with senior stakeholders and build constructive relationships across teams

Comfortable moving between C-suite discussions and detailed operational problem-solving

Success will be measured by achieving Day 1 readiness on schedule, maintaining alignment across workstreams and minimising disruption to customers and operational teams.
