4 on 4 off, permenent days - FMCG Maintenance Fitter

In this hands-on Maintenance Fitter role, you'll be involved in everything from project work and installations to preventative maintenance, breakdowns and fault finding, working as part of a solid, well-supported team.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment

Maintenance of plant and equipment including preventative maintenance

Diagnostics and fault finding

Process improvement of plant and equipment

Pipework and valves

Process pumps

Screw and belt conveyors

Boiler and steam equipment

Pneumatics and hydraulics

Operate and service machinery

Provide technical support to the production team

Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, and HACCP guidelines

About you

Trade Qualified with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments

Background in food manufacturing maintenance is essential

Experience using CMMS systems

Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude

Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team

Forklift licence is an advantage
