Mainfreight Air & Ocean - Seafreight is our international division of the Mainfreight Group and plays a critical role in our supply chain. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and career‑driven individual to join our team based at our Tullamarine, Melbourne branch.

This role offers a structured entry point into a long‑term sales career within an international logistics business, with a clear pathway into a Business Development Executive (BDE) role upon successful completion.

About the Opportunity

Providing full exposure to the Mainfreight business while developing you into a consultative, solutions‑focused salesperson as opposed to just a transactional salesperson.

You will

- Spend a time with our a variety of our teams including customer service, Imports, Exports to handle customer enquiries and become familiar with internal and external communication requirements
- Attend one week of formal training at our Sydney or Melbourne training centre
- Participate in fortnightly one‑on‑one debriefs and coaching with the state sales manager




- Attend bi‑monthly state‑based sales meetings and conferences
- Be assigned and given direct access to a sales mentor – an existing sales team member with demonstrated success to help you
- Participate in external training courses to support your development

About You

We are looking for individuals who are curious, motivated, and committed to building a long‑term sales career

You ideally will have

- A robust interest in sales and consultative selling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in data and analytics
- A genuine willingness to learn
