RN - Broken Hill Hospital - Operating Theatre

Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse with Operating Theatre experience to join their team on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment where your clinical skills and theatre expertise will be valued. The position is remunerated at AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, depending on experience and classification.

- Three-month contract role in a busy operating theatre workplace
- AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable penalties
- Work alongside an experienced surgical team in a regional health service

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience working in an operating theatre setting
- Pre-admission clinic experience or knowledge of pre-operative assessment processes
- Strong understanding of theatre protocols, infection control, and surgical safety standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or certification in perioperative nursing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
