About the Role
We currently have vacancies for two Consultant Geriatricians - One full time and One part-time (3 days per week). These roles offer the opportunity to provide high-quality geriatric care through private consultations at our premium Melbourne clinic, as well as visits to residential aged care facilities across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Our RACF service covers more than 300 facilities across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, with additional opportunities available in Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.
You will have the chance to:
- Conduct private consultations at our well-appointed clinic.
- Provide specialist geriatric assessments and care across a diverse range of residential aged care settings.
- Choose RACF locations that are conveniently suited to where you live, where possible.
- Work with a well-established and growing service that currently manages 130- 150 appointments each week.

Our state-of-the-art clinic is located on Queens Road, Melbourne and features:

Position Title: Consultant Geriatrician
Requirement for the role:
- Evidence of vaccination
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia plus FRACP or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and registrable as a Geriatric Medicine specialist with the Australian Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Certified copies of relevant qualifications and registration must be provided to the appropriate supervisors/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
Salary information
- Permanent Full Time/ Part Time
- 70 % of total billings
