As a Labourer for our Sports Court Construction, you will support the construction and maintenance of high-quality sports courts across Victoria. You will work under the direction of supervisors, foremen, or site managers, assisting skilled tradespeople and performing a range of manual and technical tasks on construction sites.

Key responsibilities

- Site preparation: Clearing debris, digging, levelling ground, and preparing work areas.
- Material handling: Loading, unloading, carrying, and storing construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assisting tradespeople: Helping carpenters, bricklayers, concreters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled workers.
- Concrete work: Mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete under supervision.
- Demolition: Removing old structures, materials, fixtures, and debris safely.
- Using tools and equipment: Operating basic hand tools and, when trained and authorised, power tools and machinery.
- Site clean-up: Keeping work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Safety compliance: Following workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting hazards or incidents.
- Measuring and marking: Taking basic measurements and marking areas according to instructions or plans.
- Moving equipment: Assisting with positioning scaffolding, ladders, barriers,



temporary fencing, and other site equipment.
