About the Role
Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor / Safety Business Partner to join our client's manufacturing site in Sunshine.
This is an initial 6-month casual, temp-to-perm opportunity, offering $65-$70 per hour inclusive of casual loading, depending on experience.
You will work closely with site leaders, contractors and frontline workers, providing practical, hands-on safety support across a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible safety leadership across the site
- Support safety systems, processes and compliance
- Assist with risk assessments, isolation plans and operational risk management
- Support safety requirements for new machine commissioning
- Coach workers on hazard management, event reporting, inspections and safety observations
- Deliver safety training including isolation, contractor management and load restraint
- Support site safety meetings and training compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and engagement
About You
- Previous safety experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
- Certificate IV in WHS or relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Experience supporting safety systems, risk assessments and hazard management
- Solid communication, coaching and influencing skills
- Confident engaging with frontline workers and site leaders
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded
