This large government body is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex cyber security and infrastructure projects.

You will take ownership of project planning, governance, budgets, risks, dependencies and delivery schedules, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and external vendors. Projects may be delivered independently or as part of a broader transformation program.

Key responsibilities

- Lead complex technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, RAID registers and governance documentation
- Manage project budgets, including resource, capital and operational expenditure
- Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies and changes
- Manage technology vendors against agreed contracts, milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate internal resources and multidisciplinary project teams
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Facilitate decision-making across technical and business stakeholder groups
- Ensure projects align with agreed architecture, security,



development and governance standards

You will bring:

- Extensive ICT project management experience within large and complex organisations
- Demonstrated delivery experience across cyber security and infrastructure projects
- Proven responsibility for project budgets exceeding $1 million
- Strong understanding of the complete project delivery lifecycle
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently
- Strong vendor, commercial and contract management capability
- Excellent project governance, financial management and reporting skills
- The ability to translate technical information for business and executive audiences
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Current project management accreditation, with PRINCE2 preferred
- Agile or Lean qualifications or experience will be highly regarded
