We are seeking a reliable and dedicated cleaner to take pride in keeping our school facilities and grounds clean and well presented.

n

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.53FTE), 40 hours per fortnight.

n

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Dajarra StateSchool caters for Kindy to Year 6, with two mulit-age classrooms K-2 and 3-6.

Your opportunity:

n

n
- Clean and sanitise windows, doors, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, toilets, sick bays, cupboards and other surfaces.
n
- Maintain cleaning equipment and carry out cobweb and mildew removal using extendable equipment where required.
n
- Sweep, vacuum, hose and clean indoor and outdoor areas, including concrete, asphalt, bitumen and paved surfaces.
n
- Collect and dispose of rubbish, maintain litter-free areas, and clear materials from drains and gutters around buildings.
n
- Dust furniture, equipment and fans; remove graffiti and maintain vinyl and timber floors through buffing, stripping and polishing, along with other cleaning duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
