We are seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join our team at Lead Electrical in Melbourne, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks across predominantly residential and some commercial projects.
What you'll be doing
- Performing electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics and work orders
- Conducting electrical safety inspections and testing
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Mentoring and training apprentice electricians as required
- Supervising and running jobs with young teams of apprentices
What we're looking for
- A valid A Grade Electrician's Licence
- 5 years' experience as a qualified A Grade Electrician (Preferable but not compulsory)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and equipment installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings,
schematics and work orders
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach to your work
- Willing to travel across Melbourne
