Tuiss Blinds Online is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Sampling Operativeto join our team.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, takes pride in their work and thrives in a quick‑paced environment. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive accurate, high‑quality fabric samples that help them choose the perfect blinds for their home.
About the role
- Picking daily fabric sample orders accurately and efficiently
- Keeping fabric samples organised, separated and in excellent condition
- Monitoring sample quality and reporting any issues
- Managing stock control and conducting regular inventory checks
- Ordering stock and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained
- Labelling, sealing and packing sample orders
- Preparing and packing new stock
- Folding sample envelopes and preparing orders for dispatch
- Responding to customer enquiries via email
- Liaising with Australia Post and arranging the dispatch of goods
About you
We’re looking for someone who is positive, organised and genuinely enjoys getting things done.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A motivated,
positive and "can-do" attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong initiative and practical problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A friendly, bubbly and professional demeanour
- The ability to consistently follow workplace policies and procedures
- Previous experience in warehousing, pick‑packing, administration, customer service or a similar environment will be highly regarded, buta great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
