We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse Manager to join our team at Ipswich Medical Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership capabilities to oversee a dedicated nursing team while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.

Working closely with the Practice Manager and Medical Director, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical excellence, developing team capability, and ensuring the efficient operation of the treatment room.

About the Role

n

In this role, you will:

n

n
- Lead, coach and support a team of Practice Nurses, Treatment Room Assistants and Medical Assistants
n
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the treatment room, ensuring safe and efficient patient care
n
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and rostering activities for the nursing team
n
- Drive employee engagement, performance development and ongoing education
n
- Deliver hands‐on clinical care, including immunisations, wound management, health assessments and chronic disease management
n
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection control and accreditation requirements
n
- Manage treatment room equipment, supplies and stock levels
n
- Work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Managers and support teams to enhance patient outcomes

- Foster a positive, patient‐focused culture centred on quality care and continuous improvement
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Previous leadership or management experience within a healthcare setting
n
- Strong clinical nursing experience, preferably within General Practice or Primary Healthcare
n
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‐building skills
n
- Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities
n
- A passion for developing and supporting clinical teams
n
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
n
- Unrestricted Australian working rights

- Evidence of vaccination history and immunity
