Job Description

Yokogawa is looking for a driven Business Development Manager - Process Instrumentation to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will champion our industry-leading product range, including field instruments, process analyser solutions, controllers, and recorders, acting as a trusted technical advisor to our customers.

You'll combine strong engineering knowledge with sales acumen to grow our customer base and discover new opportunities for cross‐selling and up‐selling in your designated product sales area.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Identify, qualify and close key sales opportunities across all potential markets
n
- Promote Yokogawa's product range, including field instruments, process analysers, controllers and recorders
n
- Provide technical solutions and consulting expertise tailored to customer needs
n
- Develop and implement sales plans and budgets for your product area
n
- Manage and grow the existing customer base while pursuing new accounts
n
- Support customers through your technical, design and engineering expertise
n
- Help drive the rollout of new, strategically important products
n
- Maintain accurate records of client activity and installed products in our CRM system
n
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
n
- At least 3 years' experience in the application and/or sales in a relevant industry.
n




- Strong technical expertise combined with highly developed sales skills
n
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
n
- Sharp research, analytical and problem‐solving abilities
n
- Solid project management, planning and organisational skills
n
- Self‐driven, motivated and professional, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
n
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with a talent for spotting and pursuing new opportunities
