Job Description

SPS Facilities is seeking a reliable and caring Cleaner to join our team at a local kindergarten.

n

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for children, staff and families.

n

Days: Monday to Friday

n

Hours: 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

n

Employment Type: Part-Time

n

Total Hours: 12.5 hours per week

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Clean classrooms, learning and activity areas.

n

Clean and sanitise children's bathrooms and staff amenities.

n

Vacuum and mop all allocated floor areas.

n

Dust furniture, ledges and accessible surfaces.

n

Clean kitchens and staff areas.

n

Empty bins and replace liners.

n

Sanitise high-touch surfaces including tables, chairs, door handles and switches.

n

Spot clean internal glass and entrance areas as required.

n





Maintain high presentation and hygiene standards throughout the kindergarten.

n

Complete scheduled detailed cleaning tasks every Friday.

n

Report maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns to management.

Requirements

n

Police Check - Preferred

n

Driver's licence and reliable transport - Preferred

n

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

n

Robust attention to detail.

n

Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures.

n

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
