Purchasing Officer - Car Subscription Fleet

About the Role

Reporting to our Head of Fleet & Branch Operations, this is a rapid-paced role where you'll play a key role in ensuring our fleet is always stocked with the right inventory.

On the buying side, you’ll be:

- Identifying the right cars to buy
- Making offers & closing deals on great terms
- Coordinating each car’s delivery

There is also a small part of this role that requires selling of cars, including:

- Identifying which cars to sell
- Leading their reconditioning strategy
- Facilitating their sale at an excellent price, either in-house or via car dealer partners

You’ll also play an important role in our annual review of which cars we’ll be buying for the following year.

You can expect the following support:

- Deep in-house experience with buying cars
- Constant demand for fresh cars
- Constant flow funds to buy cars
- Encouragement to perfect our car buying and selling process

This role is available due to an internal promotion.

This role is Monday to Friday based at our Brisbane office, with opportunities to complete some duties remotely in line with our Work From Home policy.

Occasional travel to our Sydney and Melbourne branches may be required.

About you

You have experience in procurement or buying

You’re organised and can manage multiple tasks at once

You’re proactive and like getting things done

You’re exceptionally good at doing deal

A car dealer licence is not required for this role.
