Heidelberg Fine Art Wholesalers (HFAW) is a wholesaler of art supplies operating out of a warehouse located in Fairfield, Victoria 3078. HFAW is seeking a full time Picker and Packer to join our wholesale team for an immediate start. We are a small and close knit team, with many of the staff having flourishing professional artist careers outside of HFAW.
The business hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary is open to negotiation based on skills and previous experience.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Collecting stock, packing, and dispatching wholesale orders
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries
- Customer service via phone and email
- Complete stock counts as directed
- Safe use of pallet jacks and other warehouse plant equipment as required
- Restocking, general cleaning and maintaining workspace
- Multitasking and problem solving
- Other duties as directed by Warehouse Manager
Selection Criteria:
- Experience working in a warehouse or wholesale environment, or similar
- Sound knowledge of secure manual handling
- Working Rights in Australia
- Reliable, autonomous, and enthusiastic worker
- Quick and adaptable learner
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Valid driver’s license
- WAV certification/ training
