Qualified Pest Control Technician and Trainee Pest Technician.

We are a well-established and growing pest control business in Cairns looking for either a qualified and licensed Pest Control Technician or someone looking for a career change and interested in training to become a Pest Technician.

This is a full-time position offering 38 hours per week, with overtime available for those who want it. You will manage your day independently, take pride in your work, and benefit from plenty of time allocated between jobs. Very occasional Saturday work may be required.

Key responsibilities

- Perform general pest control work

- Carry out termite work and provide quotes (training provided for trainees)

- Manage your day and work independently

- Provide great service to customers

- Build positive relationships with clients

About you
For qualified technicians:

- Qualified and licensed Pest Control Technician

- Experience in general pest control

- Experience in termite work (preferred but not required)

- Current driver's licence

- Current blue card and police check (or willingness to obtain)

- Reliable, professional and able to work independently

For trainees / career changers:

- Looking for a long-term career change

- Motivated and willing to learn

- Enjoy working independently and being out and about

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Reliable, professional and hardworking

- Current driver's licence

- Willing to obtain relevant licences, Blue Card and police check
