We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our dynamic team at our AMPOL Carpenter Street Service Station in Bendigo.

The role will involve both weekdays and weekend work (Monday to Sunday), morning and afternoon shifts that involve opening and closing the site.

Casual Position:

10-20 hours per week

Pay Rate:

$36.85 - $48.07 per hour (Junior rates may apply)

Key Responsibilities

- Fuel & Sales: Operate the fuel console, authorise pumps, and process cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments accurately.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and upsell in-store specials, drinks or snacks.
- Store Maintenance: Restock shelves, face merchandise, and clean the front counter, forecourt and restrooms.
- Safety & Security: Monitor fuel pumps, watch for drive-offs or security issues, and follow closing or opening protocols.
- Food Preparation: Basic food handling.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Communication: Friendly, polite style for dealing with the public.
- Math and Accuracy: Strong basic math skills for handling cash registers and reconciling daily takings.
- Reliability and Punctuality: Ability to work unsupervised, especially on afternoon or weekend shifts. Good time keeping skills.
- Attitude: A Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented culture.
- Flexibility: Available to work any shift, including afternoons and weekends.
