About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly organised, intelligent and ambitious graduate to work closely with the CEO of a diversified financial services and investment group.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, commercially curious and eager to learn. You will initially support the CEO across executive coordination, HR and recruitment, business administration and selected personal matters, while being exposed to different areas of the group and progressively trained for broader responsibilities.
About You
Our client is looking for someone who is:
A recent university graduate or early-career professional
Exceptionally detail-oriented and organised
A confident and polished communicator
Professional, presentable and comfortable interacting with senior executives and external stakeholders
Highly capable with technology and AI tools and solutions
A quick learner with strong initiative and a willingness to take ownership
Naturally curious and interested in business, finance and investment
Able to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change
Proactive, resourceful and willing to solve problems rather than simply follow instructions
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the CEO, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the CEO's schedule, meetings and priorities
Assisting with business and personal administration
Supporting HR, recruitment and onboarding activities
Preparing documents, presentations, reports and correspondence
Coordinating meetings and follow-up actions across the group
Conducting research and preparing summaries and analysis
Using AI tools to improve productivity, research, documentation and workflows
Assisting with internal projects and operational initiatives
Liaising with employees, clients, advisers and external stakeholders
Maintaining high levels of organisation and attention to detail
Supporting the CEO and senior management with ad-hoc projects and priorities
This position is designed for someone with long-term potential.
As you develop, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different areas of the group, including finance, investments, operations, business development, technology and management.
The intention is to progressively expand your responsibilities and develop you into a broader role within the business based on your strengths, interests and performance.
What Our Client is Looking For
You don't need years of experience. We are more interested in your intelligence, attitude, communication skills, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
You will ideally have:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Law or a related discipline
Confidence using AI tools such as ChatGPT and other AI productivity solutions
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Robust attention to detail
A professional and presentable manner
High levels of discretion and integrity
A genuine desire to build a long-term career in business
Why Join?
This is not a traditional graduate administration role. You will work directly with the CEO of a diversified financial services and investment group, gaining exposure to how a growing business is managed and operated.
For the right person, this role can provide a broad foundation for a long-term career within the group, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility across different areas of the business.
