Spring Kidz Coolamon is looking for a warm, reliable cook to join our team on a casual basis, covering full-day shifts (approx. 8am–3pm) preparing breakfast through to afternoon tea for our children.

Spring Kidz Coolamon is a family-owned, 59-place Long Day Care service in the heart of Coolamon, NSW, caring for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, open 6:30am–6pm weekdays — proudly "Meeting NQS" across all seven Quality Areas. We're a close-knit team who care as much about good food and nutrition as we do about play and learning, and we're looking for someone who shares that.

About the role

n

Casual position, full-day shifts as rostered

n

Plan and prepare nutritious, allergy-aware meals and snacks, following our menu and dietary requirement lists

n

Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety procedures

n

Order and manage kitchen supplies within budget

n

Be a friendly,



familiar face for our children and families

About you

n

Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check

n

Food Safety Supervisor certificate

n

Foundation Modules 1 & 2 of the National Child Protection (Gecko) Training

n

Experience cooking for children or in a large-group setting (childcare, school or aged care catering highly regarded)

n

Own reliable transport

n

Good time management and the ability to multitask

n

A genuine love of positive, wholesome food and a warm, can-do attitude
