Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager - Aged Care

Lead health, safety and wellbeing across a purpose-driven organisation in Aged Care.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Health, Safety & Wellbeing to lead the organisation’s health, safety, wellbeing and injury management function.

This is a senior opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded WHS/OHS professional who can influence leaders, strengthen safety culture and deliver practical solutions across a complex organisation.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, People, Culture & Diversity, you will:

- Lead the organisation’s WHS/OHS framework and strategic wellbeing agenda.
- Provide expert advice across WHS, wellbeing, injury management and WorkCover.
- Drive initiatives that improve safety culture, employee wellbeing and organisational capability.
- Oversee risk management, audits, incident management and compliance.
- Manage complex investigations, claims and workplace matters.
- Prepare insightful WHS, wellbeing and WorkCover reporting for senior management and the Board.
- Lead, coach and develop the Health,



Safety & Wellbeing team.
- Partner with HR and operational leaders to drive positive cultural change.

About you

You will bring:

- Relevant qualifications in WHS/OHS, HR or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience across WHS/OHS and WorkCover.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Experience managing complex claims, investigations, audits and workplace matters.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and solutions focused.

A Return to Work Coordinator qualification and/or Cert IV in WHS would be highly regarded.
