We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurse and Cert IV Aged Care Medical Competent Nurses to assist and support our Registered Nurses in providing clinical care to our residents along with leadership and guidance to our Personal Care teams within Mater Christi. This care of our residents is provided as part of a holistic, person-centred care model that takes account of residents’ needs, whether physical, emotional, social or spiritual.

What We Need from You:

- Current Certificate as CIV Aged Care Nurse - Medical Competent or Diploma Nursing




- Sound clinical knowledge and experience, preferably in residential aged care
- A good understanding of aged care accreditation standards
- Experience in palliative care would be advantageous
- Thorough documentation skills
- Demonstrated frontline leadership skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills

The requirements for this role are outlined in the position description & include:

- Support the provision of a range of clinical care services within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse or Cert IV Aged Care nurse including medication competency
- Leadership and support and development of the care teams
- Document assessment, evaluation and care plans to support the effective management of AN-ACC
- Comply with the Accreditation Standards and clinical governance policies and procedures
- Previous experience in a similar position will be highly regarded but not essential.
