About the Prospect
We are seeking a Membership Product Managerto join Australian Industry Group on a 24-month maximum-term contract to establish, own and develop Australian Industry Group's membership product portfolio, pricing architecture and new product offering strategy.With accountability for product performance and commercial outcomes, you will design, launch and optimise membership products and packages that drive member growth, retention and commercial value.
Working across Business Solutions, Member Engagement, Marketing, service teams and specialist teams, you will develop and enhance membership products that are commercially viable, clearly differentiated and aligned with member needs. You will be responsible for bringing new products to market, refining pricing and packaging, and identifying opportunities to strengthen member value, support retention and drive growth.
From concept and business case through to launch, optimisation and performance monitoring, you will play a key role in establishing product ownership, performance frameworks and commercial disciplines that support the ongoing growth of Australian Industry Group's membership offering.
This role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Whilst the reality of each day will be different, you can expect to be accountable for:
- Establishing, owning and evolving Australian Industry Group's membership product portfolio, including tiered membership, Starter and Starter Plus programs, and sector and regional offerings.
- Leading the design and launch of new membership products, programs and packages that support member growth, retention and commercial value.
- Managing the product lifecycle from concept and business case through to launch, review and optimisation.
- Developing pricing architecture, packaging and value propositions that are commercially viable and aligned to member needs.
- Simplifying and strengthening the membership portfolio to improve clarity, differentiation and market relevance.
- Creating cross-sell pathways and bundled offerings that deepen member value and increase engagement across Australian Industry Group's services.
- Establishing product performance reporting and monitoring to support data-led decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Developing and maintaining a clear product roadmap and supporting the successful delivery of new product initiatives.
To best succeed in this role you will have:

- Experience developing, launching and optimising products, programs or services in a commercial, membership or service-based environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively.
