Acclaimed Workforce is seeking an experienced Print Lead to join our client’s production team in Somerton.

This is a hands‑on leadership position suited to someone with experience in a manufacturing, textile printing or production environment who can lead by example, maintain production standards and support the team to achieve daily targets.

About the Role
As the Print Lead, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the print room, supporting the Print Supervisors and ensuring production goals, quality standards and workplace safety requirements are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and monitor Print Operators to ensure production and quality targets are achieved
- Oversee daily print room operations and workflows
- Check materials and equipment are correct and ready for production
- Identify and troubleshoot common equipment issues and escalate technical problems when required
- Coach and train team members while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe production environment
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Assist with shift handovers and task coordination
- Complete reporting and other duties as directed by leadership
- Work collaboratively with Print Supervisors and the wider production team
- Step into Production Associate duties when required

About You




We're looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and confident leading a team in a fast‑paced production environment.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or textile print environment
- Previous team leadership or senior operator experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn production systems
- Strong communication and time management skills
- The ability to troubleshoot common equipment errors
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
- A practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to lead by example
- The ability to follow detailed work instructions and production procedures
- A willingness to work overtime when required

Physical Requirements
This is a hands‑on production role and requires the ability to:

- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, twist, reach, push and pull
- Perform repetitive movements
- Handle tools, equipment and production materials
- Lift and move materials up to 23kg (50lbs) independently, with team lifting procedures used for heavier items
