About the role: St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) is seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Introduction Program (PIP) on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week). Whether you are a new graduate looking to begin your nursing career in a specialty area or an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a new challenge, this program provides the ideal foundation for success in perioperative nursing.

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
- Possess critical thinking, and time management skills whilst working in a dynamic and quick paced clinical environment
- Ability to participate in a rotating roster, including weeknights and weekend on-call requirements where applicable

About our hospital: St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
