This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist looking for a regular 2-day-per-week commitment, with the potential to develop into a longer-term arrangement.

Role Details

- 2 days per week(there hospital offers versatile arrangements as well with option of more days with less hours or after hours)
- Ongoing caseload of approximately8–10 inpatients
- Review inpatients twice per week
- Admissions acrossgeneral and addictions psychiatry
- Review patients participating in day programs
- Opportunity for alonger-term locum arrangement
- Suitable for doctors under 10 year moratorium

- $2,500 – $3,000 per day, depending on experience

- Review patients participating in day programs

About the hospital

The hospital has approximately 60 beds and 5 ECT suites, providing a broad range of private psychiatric services.

You’ll be joining an established medical team comprising four VMOs and one locum, supported by two general physicians and nurse practitioners.

Consulting rooms are available for VMOs, with administrative support provided, allowing you to focus on patient care.
