Our Occupational Hygiene and Hazardous Materials (OHHM) team has an opportunity for a Hygiene Technician to join our Perth Office, on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work alongside industry leaders, within both the local team and throughout wider Australia. We are a high-performing, friendly and cooperative group, looking to connect with candidates with some experience and an interest to progress and benefit from our expertise and support with ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitor occupational health exposure for hazards including dust, diesel particulate matter, welding fumes, noise, asbestos fibres and chemicals
n
- Develop reliable and detailed sampling plans
n
- Conducting field task observations, reviewing sample data and inputting into company database
n
- Providing accurate and reliable data for technical reports and proposals, contributing to SLR projects
n
- Respirator and hearing protection fit testing
n
- Travel to regional and remote sites as required to conduct fieldwork
n

Skills And Experience

n

n




- Previous experience within OHS/Hazmat, writing reports, analysing data
n
- Capable to travel regularly and flexibility in working arrangements
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication, communicating to both technical and non-technical personnel
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
n
- A valid driver's licence (a C-class Manual Licence is advantageous)
n
- Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia
n

Desirable

n

n
- Exposure within the resource industry or working on a mine site
n
- Exposure to Mine Air Quality training or Noise Dosimetry training
n
- Relevant Qualifications such as in Occupational Hygiene, Chemistry, Science, Nursing/Medical or Environmental disciplines
n
