ABOUT THE POSITION.

Temporary 4-month opportunity. As a Senior Governance Officer, you will be reporting to the Head of Governance. You will be expected to work with demonstrated efficiency to provide support in the coordination, maintenance and communication of robust governance frameworks and supporting policies. Must be available full-time in the office.

DUTIES.

- Develop and monitor governance policies, codes and procedures
- Provide independent probity reviews of procurement processes
- Manage internal and external investigations and complaints




- Coordinate external investigators and oversee investigation outcomes
- Support Council-wide legislative compliance and governance frameworks
- Manage GIPA applications and privacy-related information requests

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

- Local Council experience is highly regarded
- Experience in research and development of policies relating to Corporate Governance
- Strong knowledge of GIPA, privacy and copyright legislation
- High level of maturity and strong communication skills
