Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba is looking for a Vocationally Registered GP to join our team on Brisbane's inner east.

About us

We're a family owned, private billing general practice at Level 1, 200 Oxford Street, Bulimba, accredited against the RACGP Standards. Our patients come from Bulimba, Hawthorne, Balmoral, Morningside, Norman Park, Cannon Hill, Coorparoo and across the river from New Farm, Hamilton and Ascot.

Alongside everyday family medicine, the practice has a robust focus on skin cancer medicine, travel medicine (we're a Yellow Fever and Q Fever accredited clinic and home to Travel Doctors Brisbane), women's health including menopause and perimenopause care, occupational medicine and procedures such as iron infusions, skin excisions and contraceptive device insertion. 4Cyte Pathology is co located on site and we have psychologists and a lactation consultant working from the practice.

About the role

This is an independent contractor position paid as a percentage of billings,



with the flexibility to work full time or part time and to set your own sessions. Practice hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 1:30pm.

You'll have:

- A well established private billing patient base and a steady flow of new patients
- Experienced nursing and reception support so you can focus on medicine
- Best Practice software, HotDoc online bookings and on site pathology
- Free off street parking and lift access
- Room to build your own special interest, whether that's skin cancer, women's health, travel medicine, children's health or something else
- A friendly, well run practice where the owners are hands on and easy to deal with

About you

- FRACGP or FACRRM (or equivalent) with vocational registration
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number for this location
- A genuine interest in long term patient relationships and quality general practice care
