What you'll be doing

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing social support activities to improve clients' quality of life
- Providing transportation to and from appointments or social outings
- Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines as per the Aged Care Quality Standards

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in aged community care (MUST)
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient approach when working with vulnerable individuals
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- NDIS screening, CPR, Current First Aid certificate
- Own car, with comprehensive insurance, valid Qld driver's license (MUST)
- Right to work Australia and two recent industry references
