Operations Performance

- Adhere to all regulatory compliance as issued via VGCCC and Liquor Control Victoria including AML and Self Exclusion
- Comply with MEP cash handling policies and procedures
- Responsible for managing the gaming room and troubleshooting relevant systems and issues that may arise.
- Plan tasks, review resources to meet guest needs, set work standards and allocate priorities.
- Ensure compliance to all MEP values, policies and procedures, such as OH&S;, food and hygiene standards, skilled conduct and behaviour , venue presentation, and cash control etc.
- Actively promote MEP facilities and contribute to the development of new promotional activities for the venue to maximise revenues.
- Manage self to optimum level,



attending training courses that fulfil the development plan.
- Maintain all relevant mandatory documented qualifications
- Attend yearly training to ensure confidence in executing the venue Emergency Procedures & Fire and Evacuation

People Development

- Create and implement staff training to ensure all staff are aware of MEP service standards.
- Promote teamwork, personal presentation and image.
- Responsible for managing the team during operational duties
- Recognise and commend good performance/results.
- Assist senior management with identification of staff training needs and to formulate training and development plans.
- Assist in identifying unacceptable performance and improvement plans.

Customer Service

- Implement MEP Customer Service standards
- Monitor level of customer service and in conjunction with senior management, recommend and implement training as required.
- Available to make decisions regarding guest concerns and take responsibility for resolving problems.
- Assist customers and team members in other departments as require whilst maintaining required compliance

Qualifications and Experience

- Understanding of VGCCC and Liquor control Victoria compliance and procedures, including Venues code of conduct, Your Play program and AML.





Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) (to become Responsible Gambling Officer)

Must be available to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.
