An established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join its high-performing Finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the AR function, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers, and playing a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and an accurate ledger.

The role:

n

Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of accounts receivable activities, including:

n

n
- Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable ledger
n
- Processing invoicing, receipts, cash allocation and account adjustments
n
- Monitoring aged debt and proactively following up outstanding accounts
n
- Managing collections and escalating complex or high-risk accounts where required
n
- Investigating and resolving billing queries and customer disputes
n
- Completing AR reconciliations and assisting with month-end close
n
- Preparing debtor ageing reports and other AR reporting
n
- Working closely with Finance, Sales and other internal stakeholders
n
- Identifying discrepancies and implementing solutions to improve processes and accuracy
n

About you:

n





We're looking for an experienced AR professional who is confident managing their own ledger and isn't afraid to pick up the phone and have those more difficult conversations when required.
n You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Solid experience across AR, Credit Control or Collections
n
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end AR process
n
- Experience managing aged debt and following up overdue accounts
n
- Strong reconciliation and numerical skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Confidence working with ERP/accounting systems
n
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
n
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider Finance team
n
