An industry leading Warehousing and Distribution company are seeking a senior Work Health & Safety Manager to join their team located in Sydney's Southwest.

To be successful in this role you must be able to follow and exceed in the following roles and responsibilities:

- Developing, implementing and reviewing plans, processes and policies that increase safety.
n
- Controlling and mitigating workplace hazards and risks.
n
- Ensuring operational compliance with relevant health and safety acts and legislation.
n
- Advocating for health and safety in organizational policy.
n
- Staying updated with changes to health and safety acts, legislations and awards.
n
- Managing Safety Committee, Health and Safety Officers and other staff.
n
- Inspecting and auditing workplaces, processes and equipment for safety and compliance.
n
- Reporting and managing incidents and safety breaches.
n

About you:

n

n
- First Aid Certificate
n
- Diploma of WHS/OHS
n
- Robust understanding of legislation
n
- Mandatory 3-5+ years within the warehouse and logistics industry
n
