Job Description

This is a hands-on role delivering plants, pots, garden products and other nursery items to residential and commercial customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering orders safely and efficiently across Sydney, managing vehicle loading and unloading, and providing professional customer service at every delivery.

Key responsibilities

Delivering plants, pots, garden products and other nursery items safely and efficiently

n

Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring products are secured correctly for transport

n

Carefully handling plants and fragile pots to minimise damage during loading, transport and delivery

n

Delivering orders to residential and commercial customers across Sydney

n

Assisting customers with unloading and positioning plants, pots and products where required

n

Checking orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy

n

Providing friendly, professional customer service at every delivery

n

Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and general condition of the delivery vehicle

n

Assisting with general nursery duties when required between deliveries

n

Working closely with the retail and nursery teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time

About you

n





Has previous delivery driving experience

n

Holds a current and appropriate Australian driver's licence

n

Has excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety

n

Is physically fit and comfortable lifting, carrying and moving plants, pots and garden products

n

Takes pride in handling customers' purchases carefully

n

Has excellent customer service and communication skills

n

Is reliable, punctual and well presented

n

Can work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule

n

Is comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role

n

Has good attention to detail and takes responsibility for getting deliveries right

n

A friendly and supportive team environment

n

A varied, hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same

n
