We are looking for a casual Educator to join our early childhood education and care centre. The successful applicant will work flexibly across the centre, supporting children's learning, health, safety and wellbeing while contributing to the daily operations of the service.

Key responsibilities

- Have flexible availability between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday–Friday, including both opening and closing shifts as required
- Actively supervise children and maintain a high standard of safety and care at all times
- Build warm, respectful and meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Demonstrate a robust commitment to children's health, safety, wellbeing and learning
- Contribute positively to the daily running of the centre, including routines, cleaning, room organisation and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Be reliable, punctual, adaptable and willing to step in and support wherever needed
- Follow centre policies,



procedures and the National Quality Framework
- Work collaboratively with educators and management, communicating respectfully

About you

- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or recognised equivalent qualification
- Have current experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
- Be confident stepping into different rooms and routines when required
- Offer consistent Monday–Friday availability, including both opening and closing shifts
- Be reliable, punctual, adaptable and willing to step in and support wherever needed
- Be a genuine team player who communicates respectfully and works collaboratively
- No planned holidays or extended leave between now and February
