Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MIG and TIG welder to work for one of our clients in Melbournes South East.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Fabricating Pantographs (delicate, high-spec rail components).
n
- Working with various grades and thicknesses of steel, specifically Stainless Steel.
n
- Must be proficient in TIG (Stainless) and MIG welding.
n
- All work is subject to external certification. The candidate must be able to weld to AS/NZS 1554.6 (Stainless Steel) standards.

What you need

n

n
- Must be able to follow Weld Maps strictly. This means understanding codes for weld size, length, material types, and specific wire requirements.
n
- We need someone who takes genuine pride in their work. The work is delicate - no "heavy girders" or rough fabrication here.
n
- Must hold current welding certifications.
n

- Monday - Thursday 06.00am - 2:30pm
n
- Friday 06:00am - 12:00pm (Early finish)
n
- Overtime available regularly
n
- Temp to perm chance for the right person
n
