Excavator Operators, Labourers and Concretors - Traffic Signals & Lighting

Amtek Solutions is expanding and seeking experienced, reliable and motivated people to join our growing team across traffic signal installation, civil construction, electrical infrastructure and public lighting works throughout Victoria. We are currently recruiting Excavator Operators, Civil Labourers, and Concreters.

Key responsibilities

Excavator Operators

- Excavation and trenching for traffic signal infrastructure
- Underground electrical infrastructure works
- Public lighting works
- Installation of pits and conduits
- Road and footpath excavation
- Backfilling and reinstatement
- Working safely around electrical infrastructure
- Supporting civil and electrical crews
- Traffic signal civil works
- Public lighting civil works
- Excavation and trenching assistance
- Pit and conduit installation
- Cable and conduit installation assistance
- Backfilling and reinstatement
- Site clean-up and materials handling
- Traffic signal bases
- Public lighting pole foundations
- Kerb and channel
- Slabs and foundations
- Formwork
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Road and infrastructure works

About you

Excavator Operators

- Traffic signal experience




- Electrical infrastructure experience
- Public lighting experience
- VEDN experience/training
- Excavator ticket/competency
- White Card, MR Truck License - Mandatory
- Experience working around underground services
- Experience with Traffic Signals, Public Lighting, VEDN, Electrical Infrastructure, or Civil Construction
- White Card, MR Truck License - Mandatory
- Experience working on traffic signal or public lighting projects preferred but not mandatory
- White Card, MR Truck License - Mandatory

All roles

- Reliable, safety-focused, hardworking, team-oriented and skilled
- VEDN / Electrical Distribution experience, training or qualifications highly regarded
- VEDN Civil Infrastructure Training
- VEDN Underground Electrical training
