Join the Hardline Tiling team as a Wall & Floor Tiler in Mackay, QLD. This Full-Time Leading Hand role will see you working on a variety of residential and commercial tiling projects, utilizing your expertise in the Building Trades industry.
What you'll be doing
- Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling
- Carefully cut and install tiles to walls, floors and other surfaces
- Apply grout and sealants to finish the tiling work
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality results
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations
- Maintain a protected and tidy work environment
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience as a Wall & Floor Tiler
- Certificate III in Wall/Floor Tiling is required for this position
- Minimum of 5+ years of tiling experience is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise tiling work
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet project timelines
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
- Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
