About the role:

Nineinsix Builders are the Principal Builder behind a high-profile custom build project in Melbourne’s northern suburbs area. The Founders come from a hands-on high quality carpentry background with over 40 years in the industry.

At Nineinsix we pride ourselves in being builders and as a result work with Carpenters across all aspects of completed projects and contribute to tasks beyond the standard carpentry role.

- Earn over $100k+ (with overtime and occasional Saturday work)

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be imparting your experience in all aspects of carpentry and renovation construction, including:

- Performing all aspects of carpentry and building.




- Following construction drawings and plans to meet the needs of the build.
- Setting out and site establishment as per plans and site requirements.
- Working with a team of qualified & apprentice carpenters, subcontractors and other labourers.
- Inspecting, recording and replacing defective aspects of the build.
- Working in a safe manner and compliant with OH&S; rules.
- Duties as required to support the overall build process.

What we're looking for:

- 2-3 plus years experience as a qualified carpenter (high end residential experience a bonus but not essential).
- Willingness to ensure you always following safety guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical documents and drawings.
- Strong understanding of English, good communication skills and a demonstrated ability with numbers.
- A driven and energetic work ethic who works well autonomously.
- A desire to learn yourself and with those around you.
