About the Role and Tasks:

n

n
- You will manage the provision of the daily care needs for residents while supporting the team around you.
n
- You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments,
n
- Engage in nursing practices that enhance the dignity and integrity of all residents, fostering independence
n
- Overall management of medications.
n
- You will liaise with doctors, Allied Health professionals, and family members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual resident care.
n
- You will supervise and coordinate with care workers, enrolled nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
n
- Providing information about residents to their family members,



updating their family members on their treatment and care.
n
- Overall responsibility for the nursing care of the resident.
n
- You will be responsible for Medications, Providing interventions, and treatments to residents.
n

To be successful in the role the suitable applicant must be/have:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
n
- Qualified Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
- One year or more Aged Care Experience or Overseas experience also accepted.
n
- Demonstrate solid leadership skills and the ability to delegate and prioritise workload
n
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- Experience providing clinical patient centred Care Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
n
- Understanding of the Aged Care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration Knowledge and experience with ACFI
n
- Excellent computer and documentation skills
n
- Empathy and an emphasis on treating others with dignity and respect
n
- The right to work in Australia
n
- Current National Police Check
