Position Summary

n

This role is responsible for delivering Level 2/3 technical support across a remote mining site. You'll manage a mix of desktop, network, server and infrastructure tasks, ensuring stable operations for both village and production environments. The position suits a technician who is confident working hands‐on, thrives in remote settings, and can operate independently under pressure.

Core Duties

n

n
- Provide Level 2/3 support for onsite users and operational teams.
n
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
n
- Resolve issues across networking, wireless, communications and connectivity.
n
- Assist with server, storage and general infrastructure tasks.
n
- Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, patching and fault remediation.
n
- Work with enterprise hardware including Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, and site wireless systems.
n




- Support remote‐site operations and ensure continuity of critical IT services.
n
- Escalate complex technical issues and collaborate with broader engineering teams.
n
- Uphold robust communication, documentation and customer service standards.
n

Candidate Profile

n

n
- FIFO experience is mandatory.
n
- Solid background in Level 2/3 IT support.
n
- Broad technical capability across:n n
- Desktop support

- Networking
n
- Communications
n
- Servers
n
- General infrastructure
n

n
- Experience in mining or remote‐site environments is highly valued.
n
- Exposure to Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage and wireless technologies is beneficial.
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders.
n
- Comfortable working solo in hot, remote and demanding conditions.
n
- OT/industrial technology experience is a bonus.
