About the role

We're looking for an experienced Skilled Fabricator with a strong background in aluminium fabrication to join our team. This is a hands-on role covering workshop fabrication as well as on-site installation across our commercial fitout projects — so you'll need to be equally comfortable running a job in the shop and delivering it on site.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate aluminium components to specification, including screens, balustrades, frames and custom architectural elements
- Read and work from architectural and engineering drawings, shop drawings and fabrication schedules
- Cut, weld (TIG/MIG), form and finish aluminium and associated metals to a high standard
- Prepare accurate cutting lists and material take-offs from drawings




- Carry out on-site installation of fabricated products, working alongside site teams and other trades
- Conduct on-site measure-ups and verify dimensions against shop drawings prior to fabrication
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and project specifications
- Maintain a protected workshop and site environment in line with WHS requirements
- Liaise with project managers and site supervisors on programme, sequencing and access

About you

- Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator (Certificate III or equivalent) – highly regarded
- Proven experience in aluminium fabrication (essential) — architectural/facade fabrication experience highly regarded
- Confident TIG welding aluminium; MIG/steel welding experience also valued
- Comfortable working both in the workshop and on commercial construction sites
- Current driver's licence
- Current White Card (construction induction)
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong drawing interpretation and attention to dimensional accuracy
- Good communicator, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
