n An established and growing property and construction business is looking for an experienced Project Architect to join its expanding in-house architecture team.
n This is an excellent opportunity for an architect who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead junior team members and play a key role in delivering practical, large-scale residential developments.
n The business has a strong pipeline of projects and is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and independently manage projects across all stages.
n The Role
n You will be responsible for running projects from early design through to documentation and delivery, working alongside a team of architects and designers.
n While you will remain hands-on with project documentation and Revit, the primary focus of the position is project leadership, coordination and delivery rather than sitting purely in a documentation role.
n You will:

- Lead and manage projects across all phases
n
- Coordinate design development and documentation
n
- Produce and review documentation directly in Revit
n
- Coordinate consultants and internal project teams
n
- Manage project programmes, deliverables and deadlines
n
- Oversee projects through design, approvals and delivery
n
- Identify and resolve design and documentation issues
n
- Work closely with internal development and construction teams




n
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle
n
- Lead and mentor junior architects and designers
n
- Maintain a high standard of documentation and project delivery
n
- Work across multiple projects as they progress through the business
n

You will have a robust design and technical team supporting you, meaning you won't be expected to do every aspect of the design work yourself.
n The key is being someone who can take ownership of a project and drive it forward.
n Project Experience The ideal candidate will have experience across:

n

n
- Apartments
n
- Multi-residential
n
- Social housing
n
- Large-scale residential developments
n

n

High-end residential experience is not required. The focus is on practical, larger-scale residential and social housing projects.
n You will also have exposure to working with government authorities, planning requirements, building codes and relevant approval processes, particularly across social housing developments.
n What We're Looking For
n We're looking for an architect with approximately 5–10 years' experience.
n You will ideally have:

n

n




- Proven experience working as a Project Architect or in a similar project leadership position
n
- Strong apartment / multi-residential experience
n
- Social housing experience highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
n
- Ability to independently run projects
n
- Excellent Revit skills
n
- Ability to produce and coordinate documentation in Revit yourself
n
- Strong technical and construction knowledge
n
- Experience coordinating consultants and project teams
n
- Ability to lead and mentor junior architects
n
- Strong organisation and time management
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
n
