We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering complex data integration and software solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.

About the Role

n

As an SAP Software Engineer, you will take technical responsibility for the design, development, deployment, and support of sophisticated data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS).

n

You will lead software development activities, provide expert technical guidance, and work collaboratively with stakeholders across projects to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles, systems integration, release management, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of complex software and data integration solutions.
n
- Develop and maintain SAP BODS ETL processes integrating data across multiple systems and platforms.
n
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.
n
- Drive software engineering best practices, code quality, and maintainability standards.
n
- Lead analysis, solution design, prototyping, development, testing, and implementation activities.
n
- Review business and technical requirements and develop scalable solution designs.
n
- Lead release planning, production deployments, and post-deployment support activities.
n
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within development and production environments.
n




- Support systems integration, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Contribute to technical standards, development methodologies, and organisational technology roadmaps.

About You

n

You are a highly capable software engineering professional with experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions and leading technical teams. You bring strong analytical skills, a cooperative approach, and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.

- Extensive experience in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) development and ETL solution delivery.
n
- Strong software development and systems design expertise.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading software development projects and technical teams.
n
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale data integration and transformation solutions.
n
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
n
- Experience with software release management, deployment processes, and production support.
n
- Proven ability to investigate, analyse, and resolve complex ICT challenges.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and technical advisory capabilities.
n
- Experience implementing development standards, methods, tools, and governance frameworks.
n
- Knowledge of automated testing, software configuration, and systems integration practices.
n
- Experience in configuration management processes and tools.
n
- Exposure to enterprise SAP environments, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
