Job Description

We are looking for a packaging technologist to join a well-established packaging manufacturer in Adelaide.

This is a hands-on technical role working with adaptable films used in the manufacture of packaging for food, beverage and other products.

n

You will work closely with production, quality and technical teams to test and assess films, investigate problems and ensure materials perform as expected during manufacturing and in the finished product.

What you'll be doing:

- Testing and evaluating flexible films and packaging materials
n
- Investigating film failures, defects and performance issues
n
- Supporting production trials and new material development
n
- Analysing test results and identifying improvements
n
- Working closely with production, quality and technical teams
n
- Ensuring films meet required specifications and quality standards
n




- Recording test results and preparing technical reports
n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Experience with flexible films, plastics, polymers or flexible packaging
n
- Experience with material testing, quality or technical troubleshooting
n
- An understanding of how films behave during manufacturing and packaging
n
- Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Someone comfortable working in both a testing/laboratory environment and alongside manufacturing teams
n
