Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator - Startup

You'll help manage Prizecart's social presence, with a major focus on creating entertaining, engaging and culturally relevant content. You'll help manage Prizecart's TikTok and Instagram channels, create and publish social content each week, and film regular iPhone-first content with the founders, team, creators and talent. You'll also help think beyond traditional social media through guerrilla marketing, street activations and unconventional brand ideas that get Prizecart noticed in the real world and create content people want to share online. You'll work directly with the Director, who will lead the broader strategy, creative direction and content pillars, while you'll take ownership of helping execute that strategy consistently.

Key responsibilities

- Help manage Prizecart's TikTok and Instagram channels
- Create, edit and publish social content each week
- Film regular iPhone-first content with the founders, team, creators and talent
- Attend scheduled content days and shoots in Melbourne
- Assist with larger campaign and higher-production shoots
- Turn trends, memes and cultural moments into relevant Prizecart content
- Edit TikToks, Reels, interviews, founder content and short-form videos
- Develop strong hooks, captions and social-first storytelling




- Help create recurring content series and formats
- Maintain and manage the social content calendar

About you

- 1–3+ years' experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing
- Robust understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video
- Confident filming high-quality content on an iPhone
- Comfortable appearing in content when required
- Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention
- A good eye for fashion, lifestyle and visual culture
- Strong copywriting and caption-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple pieces of content at once
