This position requires a teaching load of Dance and PDHPE.

Specific Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach Dance and PDHPE. Demonstrated exceptional teaching practice across PDHPE and Dance, with the ability to inspire, challenge and extend students through evidence-informed, inclusive and highly engaging pedagogy.
- Proven expertise in assessment for learning, including authentic assessment, high-quality feedback and the purposeful use of student evidence to adapt teaching and accelerate student learning and outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise and collaboration in Sport and Dance extracurricular opportunities, with a proven capacity to increase participation,



develop performance and create meaningful pathways for students across a diverse range of abilities, interests and aspirations.
- Capacity to build positive, respectful and team-oriented relationships with colleagues, students, families and the wider school community to strengthen student learning, wellbeing, participation and belonging.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
