Stores & Supply Officer

St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital is seeking a reliable and organised Stores & Supply Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This is an important role supporting the day-to-day operation of the hospital by ensuring medical, clinical and general supplies are received, stored and distributed efficiently.

n

Working as part of our hospital support services team, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient stores and supply function across the hospital.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Receiving, checking and appropriately storing deliveries
n
- Picking and distributing stock and supplies to hospital departments
n
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
n
- Monitoring stock usage and identifying replenishment requirements
n
- Conducting regular stocktakes and inventory checks
n
- Ensuring stock is stored safely and in accordance with hospital requirements
n
- Processing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers as required
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient stores area
n
- Supporting the hospital team with ad-hoc stores and supply requirements
n
- Following relevant workplace health and safety, infection control and hospital procedures
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in providing a high level of service to internal customers.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in stores, warehousing, inventory or supply chain operations
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n




- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Good computer and administrative skills
n
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- A proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever required
n
- The ability to safely undertake manual handling and physical aspects of the role
n
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential
n

Remuneration: An hourly rate of $30.59 - $32.94 + superannuation
